Radiotherapy Late Effects Multidisciplinary Team (MDT): Enhancing Clinical Decision-Making for Cancer Survivors Experiencing Treatment-Related Symptoms
This MDT meets monthly on the last Tuesday of each month from 1-2 pm via MS Teams, and is open to all healthcare professionals with an interest in managing late effects of cancer treatment. Our goal is to share expert knowledge and best practices to ensure optimal management of treatment-related symptoms, while maintaining a patient-centred, holistic approach.
We aim to continually improve outcomes by exploring advancements in treatment planning and management techniques.
The MDT is non-site specific and welcomes case discussions from across the region. Services dedicated to managing late effects are currently available at:
- Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (all body sites)
- East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (pelvic-specific)
- Addenbrooke’s Hospital (pelvic-specific)
